ABOUT ME
With over a decade of experience working in the mental health field, in combination with the wisdom I have gained from some of my own personal experiences, lend themselves to creating a rich blend of knowledge and perspective that I bring to my work with clients. I have previous experience in the field including hospital-based therapy, hospital-based addiction and psychiatry consultation services; mobile psychiatric crisis evaluations; adult and adolescent inpatient psychiatry services. Most recently I have over 6 years of private practice experience full-time. I am passionate about mental health and equal access to mental health services. I love creating a safe space for stories, thoughts and feelings to be shared and processed. Having the honor of witnessing growth, self-discovery, and increased empowerment in clients are my favorite parts of this work. I am continually in awe of the resiliency we as human beings are capable of, and I feel grateful to witness such strength and humility in others every single day.
In my free time outside of being a therapist, I love quality time with my loved ones (both in human & furry forms), loving silence & stillness, yoga & meditation, horseback riding, moving my body in ways that feel good, puzzling, gardening, cooking/baking, and time spent in nature and by water in a variety of ways.
